We had an unforgettable evening this fall at the MET Store Gallery, where we celebrated the winners of the Mildred Blount Hat Competition! We had the honor of showcasing the exceptional winners of the competition, along with Milliners Guild board members and the competition committee. Each hat tells its own story, inspired by iconic films and brought to life by talented milliners.
This is my entry into the competition. It was inspired by hats that Marlene Dietrich wore in the 1940's and 1950's.
